Halloween

For months Owen has said he was going to be a fireman for Halloween, which was great...we have a great costume. We were set. Then this week rolls around and he tells me he is going to be a knight...so thank you Mardel (Christian bookstore here) for having a great knight costume today!

I think he made a pretty dashing knight myself!

He was eager to begin trick or treating this year. He had it down. "Trick or treat", "thank you, happy hallloween" at every house.

We came across all types of decor ; )

Happy Mama with her favorite knight. Next year I will get to dress up 2 boys...already thinking about the costume possibilities ; )

Owen made a friend along the way.

I don't think he ever knew his name...he was just the Red Power Ranger. He was 5, so Owen thought he was big stuff trick or treating with him. They had a blast!

And just as we did last year, we ended our trick or treating at Henry and Stephanie's.

And Batman Henry was there to greet Owen.

The McHenrys stopped by as well and it was a perfect way to end our Halloween night. The kiddos loaded up with buckets of candy and the mamas and daddies might have snuck a piece or two as well.
