Reid's first birthday party

We found ourselves saying, "this past year has really flown by". Reid was turning one and we thought a plane theme would be the perfect way to celebrate Reid's first year of life!

My friend, Laura made he delicious cake and Owen's teacher, Ms. Bishop made the adorable cookies.

In April we celebrated two birthdays...David turning 31 and Cooper turning 8 years old.

On David's birthday we enjoyed hanging out in the front yard with our neighbors

and had the please of Burton and Laura joining us for birthday dinner and cake!

We are so excited about them moving to the neighborhood and glad Reid will have Rowe to be his buddy!

 The next weekend we celebrated Cooper's birthday in our backyard with our sweet neighbors. 

 We love our Coop dog. He has been through many different seasons of life with us and is a sweet companion. 

Collin's 2nd Birthday

We had a small party at home celebrating Collin turning 2 with grandparents and our neighbors a few weeks ago. 

Collin likes lots of things but does get excited over some construction equipment, so we thought that would make for a fun second birthday party!

Maggie Weir made these adorable cookies that are delicious! Can't wait for her to make more for future parties. I think they were the biggest hit of the party especially for the kids! 

I made a chocolate poundcake that turned out to make for a great construction site with some oreo dirt and candies. 

We also had a dump truck full of chex mix that Collin loves. 

We made a kids table in the kitchen using road tape and fun cars and construction equipment. Everyone enjoyed coloring on the paper too. 

Gammy got this adorable sign for Collin that we can use again and again. 

Collin couldn't wait to dig into a cookie! He was excited about the special decorations for his day!

Cousin Kate joined in the party festivities too. 

The menu included burgers, chicken nuggets, triple bean and avocado dip, tiger noodle slaw, berries and lemonade. 

Collin's two best buddies (also our neighbors) Gray and Adler came. 

Buzz Lightyear was a huge hit. Collin's favorite movie is Toy Story so he was beyond happy to have his own Buzz!

It was a great day, just the perfect second birthday for our Collin!
