Owen is 8 months old today...where did my little baby go?
Oh, that's right...in the Easter basket : ) Don't you know he is thinking "Mom, why I am in this basket?"
Here is an 8 month update on Little Bit and some pictures we took today:
He likes to pat things. In music we had drums to beat this last week. Now Owen pats the upside down laundry basket like a drum. I have also noticed when Owen hears music he will start to pat while the music is playing. Owen is very social in music class, crawling everywhere and greeting all the other kids.
Another fun thing is he and Sam are totally happy playing on their own. They definitely interact more. They have little conversations and crawl after each other while they play together...so neat to watch.
Owen got two new teeth this month. His two top teeth have come in giving him a total of 4 now. He is in size 3 diapers, size 4 shoes, and wears clothes ranging from 12-18 months. He is still a long and lean baby.
He is over the baby food. He likes to eat anything that he can pick up himself and feed himself (pieces of peach, pears, carrots, banana, waffle, rolls, eggs, peas, beans, puffs, mum-mums). He drinks water from his sippy cup. His primary source of nutrition still comes from nursing. His sleep has improved so much this month, making bedtime and naptime so much easier. I think we may have entered into the separation anxiety phase. (Not a fan of being left in the nursery at church or having Mama out of sight.)
But that's ok...Mama likes him in her sight too or better yet wrapped up in her arms.
