Mother's Day Weekend

Tucker (our cat) and Cooper (our dog) loaded up and traveled to Greenville for Mother's Day Weekend. David was on call at the hospital for the weekend, so he couldn't make the trip. The fun started on Saturday at our niece's 2nd birthday party! The party was held at Sherling Lake Park. The kids enjoyed playing on the playground and the adults enjoyed the shade of the pavilion. Uncle Brian and Uncle Ben were in attendance, so that was made the day extra special. Her cake was just too cute. Sarah wanted a lizard cake...and it couldn't have been better!
As we sang "Happy Birthday", she leaned over (we thought to blow out the candles), but instead she proceeded to eat the little red dots of the top of the cake!! Too funny, what a cutie : )

I was lucky to spend Mother's day with these special ladies:

I am so blessed to have the best mom in the world. She is a best friend who has always gone out of her way to give us the best life...and we have alot of fun together. And then there is Gammy. Gammy is by far the most generous soul in the world. She has such a loving spirit and generous heart. So when the three of us are together...there is always alot of laughing and fun times...priceless!!

We also spent some time with my aunt and uncle and cousin, Caroline. We grilled out at their house Saturday night and had some scrumptious food. Caroline painted this cute flower pot for me for Mother's Day.
It was was a special weekend, really enjoyed some good times with family. Hated David had to miss it, but everyone made it a very fun weekend and memorable for this mom-to-be : )
