morning at the beach

Last week we decided to take a spontaneous trip to Gulf Shores Beach. 

We figured that the boys wake up early, so why not do something fun when the beach is only a short drive away. Owen was super excited and wore his snorkel for most of the car ride. Kid loves his goggles and snorkel.

The beach was beautiful and there were not many people out. It was a beautiful day. Not too hot and the water felt great. 

We all got in and swam. My kids love the water. Love that about them. We really had so much fun. 

We were back in the car and headed back home by 10:20. I can remember a time when we would just be getting on the beach by that time of day.
