Riley visits

We are always happy when we get to have a visit with Riley. 

He made a special trip up to see us before we left Alabama.

Collin had changed so much from our last visit. My guess is that he will be walking/running when everyone sees him again.

Papa and Collin always enjoy little conversations together. 

When Owen wasn't looking, Meme created this amazing spider web on the porch.

He LOVES his Meme, there is no denying that one. They share something special and I love their relationship.

Gammy had been wanting to make one of her famous chocolate cakes for us, so she and Caroline whipped up a delicious one. We decided to throw on a candle and let Owen enjoy a little early birthday fun.

He unwrapped a couple of early birthday presents.

and of course we all enjoyed the cake.

John and Annette gave him this cool spiderweb shooter and Owen nailed a big grasshopper with his web.

We had a fun night and it was a nice way to finish out our time at home in Alabama.

We thought by the end of a month traveling and away from home, we would be ready to get back. But that trip home to Texas was harder to make than we expected. We had such a fun filled month. Our kids were loved on, we were loved on. It truly was so good and filled with so much joy. Thank you to all of you who helped make it such a special time for our little family.
