We celebrated Owen's 4th Birthday Saturday with a Lego inspired party. We all know Owen loves his legos, so a Lego party was a must this year.
My friend Amanda made the invitation. They are designed to look like the Lego boxes and include Owen's 4 favorite mini figures. Love how they turned out!
We had quite the spread including all of Owen's favorite treats.
This party was so much fun to put together. We had plenty of Legos to inspire us.
Ms. Crumpler's cookies were a hit.
Owen loves popcorn, so popcorn from Off the Cobb was perfect. The kids seemed to really love it too.
I picked up these large Lego mini figures from Zulily and Amazon. The fireman is actually a light and Batman is a clock. Owen thought they were totally cool.
We served square block style pretzels in the large Lego head and fruit kabobs.
And made these lego juice boxes with construction paper and foam circles for the kids.
Patsy's Bake shop in West, Tx made the cake. She did an amazing job. It was buttercream with fondant bricks that the kids loved. The cake was not only great looking but great tasting.
We placed Owen's favorite Lego minifigures on top of the cake and let them hold the candles.
We left a Lego Minifigure book out for our friends to sign.
Owen and I made crayons using these molds from Amazon. The kids loved coloring with them and we also gave them as favors.
We left some bricks out on the table for kids to build and create if they wanted to.
Favor for friends.
Meme made this banner for us. I downloaded the Lego font and printed the letters out on white card stock. She colored around each letter with a yellow marker and then glued them to red card stock. We threaded blue cord through the letter and hung them from the trees.
She also made us some large lego bricks from foam and we put these on the entrance of the pavilion.
Our sweet babysitter Melissa was such a big help to us that morning. My boys love her.
Owen and his buddy Jackson.
Sweet boys ready for the cake. (Finn, Owen, Jackson and Sam)
My Four year old!
Opening gifts.
That was the Lego batman he had been asking for...so glad Collin was able to get it for him ; )
My friend Caroline and Scott. We are going to miss them so much when they move to Mississippi!
Henry and baby Sloane.
Stephanie with Collin and Margaret with Gus.
Buddies.
It was a great party. We were so glad we chose the park. The weather was nice. The trees and pavilion kept everyone cool. We had sweet friends from residency, life group and the Ashleys surround us and celebrate with us.
Seeing this guy's face light up and the excitement for his party was so much fun for me. He is worth making a big deal over and worth celebrating. Happy Fourth Birthday to my favorite Lego loving buddy!

How fun to have all your friends come and celebrate Owen's fourth birthday! Looks like the legos were fun for everyone. And I know the cake and cookies were great. Happy Birthday Owen!
