Something happens mentally when you pass that 40 week mark. You really begin to wonder if you are ever going to have your baby…ask this guy, he tried this 3 years ago.
You can't sit around and wait to go into labor, so we have tried to live up these "bonus" days.
Owen and I had such a fun day, just the two of us yesterday. It occurred to me that it was the last day as just us. We went to the zoo, got milkshakes, played Legos. He was a happy kid.
David and I had a lunch date and splurged on dessert.
I am really trying to trust and remember that I am not in control but God is.
Finding comfort and peace in these verses (thanks Mama).
This book has become one of Owen's favorites. He chooses it almost every night at bedtime.
It's a great little book I ordered from Amazon about bringing a new baby home.
I have been 2-3 cm for about 2 weeks, 50% effaced. But my babies like to cook a long time despite the pineapple, dates, red raspberry leaf tea, oregano, eggplant parmesan, walking, cleaning/nesting or other activities that promise to get a baby moving ; )
So we wait, he has until Tuesday when they will induce if he has not made his appearance.
I will leave you with a little video. Prayers are appreciated…we would love to meet this little guy sooner rather than later.
