Baylor Homecoming

Now, let me begin by saying we are first and foremost Auburn fans. We bleed orange and blue and that will never change...but we do live in Waco, Texas where it just so happens to be the home of Baylor University. We were informed that the Baylor Homecoming parade is the oldest homecoming parade in the nation beginning in 1909. So when some friends invited us to come along, we could not resist.
So we pulled out all the green and gold clothing we could find in or closets and headed downtown for the parade at 8:30 this morning. We found our friends and enjoyed the sights.
Our sweet neighbor Aubree was ready with her bag in hand.

There were some pretty impressive floats.

Owen was enamored...and there were even a few tractors in the parade!

I think our neighbors were impressed that we scrounged up some green and gold clothing ; )

The Mammoth float was tribute to the mammoth site here in Waco. We have yet to visit it, but it is definitely on our bucket list.

We had a great time and were so glad we went. Fun morning here in Waco, thanks for the invite friends!
