Today we headed to the local "pumpkin patch." When we pulled up, David said, "Is this it?"...we might have gotten a little spoiled with our pumpkin patch experience last year.
Owen quickly made himself at home and picked up every little pumpkin he could pick up.
We tried to get a picture of the nice little hay bale backdrops...but this little cowboy was on the move.
climbing over pumpkins, on pumpkins, through the pumpkins.
Owen liked the baby pumpkins...they were just right to carry around
So of course he needed two...because two is his favorite number.
And also the age of this handsome little guy.
We also ran into our neighbors, the Sealeys, and if Owen had sat still we would have a picture to prove it.
But Mama was the lucky girl to get her picture taken with this little man.
By the end of the morning, we had to come to a decision of which lucky pumpkins would get to come home with us.
Owen chose a little baby pumpkin for himself and Mama chose a big pumpkin to carve this weekend, and Daddy was sweet enough to carry it out for her : )
It was a fun morning at Central Christian Church's pumpkin patch. Owen had talked for weeks about going to get a pumpkin with Daddy...so we were glad to share this day together.

I agree! We were totally spoiled with Tate Farms! Looks like it was still a fun and special day for you three. Amazing how different Owen is now compared to his last pumpkin patch experience! He is a handsome little boy!
ReplyDeleteFun!! Can't wait to take John William to a pumpkin patch! Owen is so handsome, and I love his pumpkin shirt ;)
ReplyDeleteLooks like he had fun anyway :) LOVE the cowboy boots - C's feet are too fat for the "real" looking cowboy boots - we had to go for a more "workboot" look! Miss you guys.
