fall gardening

I am thinking we are more of fall gardeners. We have been enjoying beautiful red tomatoes from our garden the past few weeks. What's that you say? Yes, it is almost November.

Our garden is growing, a few little worms also decided it was tasty...so we had to work on getting rid of them. Our lettuce looks beautiful...but it tastes bitter. After a bit of research, I think the warm weather did not help our lettuce. Oh well, gardening is all about learning.

And no, my coffee cup really has nothing to do with fall gardening. But drinking coffee in it every morning just makes me happy.

So we have been finding these fuzzy little black caterpillars lately. I think my uncle used to have one as a pet, right Gammy? Owen loves to watch them. Here he is pondering over the caterpillars next move.

Cooler weather is finally visiting us this weekend. I would be happy for it to stay a while. We have big plans of football, fire pits, friends and lots of good food this weekend. Happy Weekend!
