Nana and Papa had their first visit to Waco this past weekend. Owen loved having them at his new house and enjoyed showing them his choo-choos, tractors, pool and garden.
Papa even helped him pick our very first vegetable from the garden. Papa knows a lot about gardening and has picked his fair share of vegetables, so he was the perfect one to show Owen how it's done.
Check out that cucumber!
We decided to take them to our zoo since it is one of Owen's favorite places in Waco.
We even saw a part of the zoo we missed the first time.
I think Nana and Papa enjoyed the zoo
but then again, I think as long as they were with Owen...they would be happy.
Nana and Papa also brought a cooler full of fresh veggies from home to stock our freezer...very grateful for the fresh produce : ) Owen and Nana checked out a yard sale one morning where she showed him how to wheel and deal. The rest of the time was spent just hanging out, reading books and even a little tractor watching on you-tube. David and I also got a date night! Very thankful for that time together.
Thanks for visiting Nana and Papa. We hope you had a good time. Now that you know the way, I have a feeling you will be back very soon!
