Snapshots and Snapper

David has been on call a bit more with this rotation, so Owen is super happy when Daddy gets to squeeze a visit home in his day.

Enjoying sitting in his bouncy seat talking and squealing.

.

We didn't go trick-or-treating this year, but stayed home Halloween night to hand out candy. I think we had all of 4 trick-or-treaters. We opted for hanging out with Sophie the giraffe and reading The Littlest Pumpkin

Owen is super happy that his Auburn Tigers are doing well this football season. My cousin Katie made his adorable Auburn outfit!

Daddy is a pretty funny guy. Owen has started to laugh now...so cute to hear his little chuckle!

This is what Owen thought about all of the political adds on TV, but we did our part and went and voted today!

For dinner tonight, our good friend Brian came over and fried Snapper for us. He and his girlfriend Lisa (both are in David's med school class) had quite a successful fishing trip this weekend, and we got to share in their good fortune. Brian grew up fishing in the gulf, but apparently it was Lisa who had the touch with the fish this weekend!
Brian working his magic frying up the Snapper. Brian introduced us to Snapper throats as well. They were really good, basically just the snapper on a bonier piece of the fish.

Look at that dinner... fried Snapper, homemade sweet potato fries and a fresh salad. Thanks so much Brian for coming over and cooking us an amazing dinner! Enjoyed our time with you, only thing that could have made it better was Lisa joining us too!
