Baby things we have enjoyed the first 3 Months

When we were expecting, I always enjoyed reading about products and baby items other people enjoyed, especially what our friends enjoyed. There are so many "baby things" out there now, it can be overwhelming deciding what you need. Here are some of our favorite baby things we have loved using with Owen:


Peg Perego Primo Viaggio Car Seat
-It is supposed to be the safest car seat, one of the few having side impact protection. It is a little heavy, but from my research the safest ones usually are heavier. We love this car seat and have no regrets about choosing it. It also snaps into this stroller:


Peg Perego Vela Stroller
-Strolls completely smoothly...love our stroller! When used with the car seat, can completely cover baby -David calls this cocoon mode : )



Chicco Pack N Play
-perfect for trips, easy to pack up. Has the changing table that folds over where you don't want to use it. This one has a light, vibrates and plays songs.


Fisher Price Little Lamb Swing
-Owen LOVES his swing. I don't know what we would have done without it. When he was first born it was one the the only places he would sleep. We use this everyday. Now he enjoys watching the mobile and looking at himself in the mirror above. It swings from front to front and side to side as well as plays music. Uses batteries.


His Nana gave him the Angelcare system which will alarm you if there is no movement after a few seconds in prevention of SIDS. It gives you peace of mind knowing that he is breathing. The monitor shows the temperature in the room as well as a ticking motion depicting the movement. It also serves as a regular baby monitor.



Aden and Anais swaddle blankets
-These blankets are a perfect weight. They are light and airy. When it was so warm, they were still perfect for wrapping him up in. They are super soft and get softer with every washing. Made for swaddling, but perfect for simply covering him up in, putting it over the car seat, nursing cover, changing pad, or burp cloth if you need it. I ordered them offline, but Target now carries them too!


Boppy with Pottery Barn chamois slip cover
-We love our boppy. Makes nursing so much easier, also can rest Owen in it by being propped up on it. We love these slip covers from Pottery barn that are super soft!



Candela night light-gives off the perfect amount of light for checking on him, changing a diaper or late night feeding without having to turn on a light and entirely waking him up.

Whale Tub
-perfect for his baths, and green stopper can be taken out when he can sit up by himself


Diaper Genie elite II-has food pedal, completely Cooper proof!

Our newest addition: Graco Blossom High Chair!
Thanks MeMe for an early Christmas gift! This high chair converts into 4 different types of seating. High Chair, infant chair that will attach to a chair, booster seat and youth chair. Owen can already sit in it now and sit in the kitchen with me our next to us at the table. It also has wheels and rolls. We love it!
