Life with two has been really sweet lately.
Owen is finally well and can love and hold his brother all he wants…which is all the time.
The adjustment has gone better than I thought it might.
Owen is pretty understanding about the care his brother needs. He will tell me when he thinks his brother is hungry or maybe he needs his diaper changed. If Collin starts crying in his crib, Owen beats me in there to try to talk to and quiet his brother. He understands that mom has to nurse the baby and rock him to sleep for a nap.
He also knows at nap time I might get to play Legos with him ; )
Owen crawled up in the chair today as I was rocking Collin. We rocked as I sang songs about God and Owen sang along too. In that moment I just felt so overwhelmingly blessed to be holding both of those boys. They fill my heart up. How truly great is our God!
It's funny. My days are literally very full. I don't get everything done. There are usually always some dishes in the sink and an overflowing laundry basket. I probably won't get a shower until late that night. I really am not sleeping much, but I am happy.
(Collin's first walk in the Ergo carrier)
The days are full in a good way.
It's as if there was a piece missing and he is here now.
I am attaching a couple of videos of Collin. For the bulk of our family who still hasn't been able to meet him, it gives you a better image of his precious boy.
Thanks for making us a part of your world when you are so far away. With your pictures and videos we get to see the fun changes each day. Meme loves you guys!
