summer

We are finding our summer routine around here. Owen started Mother's Day out this week. 

He will go 2 days a week from 9 until 2. He had a great first day. His teacher reported he did great. He was happy, playful, busy and outgoing.

He even napped on his nap mat...I was shocked. But really proud of my little guy. 

But the second day was met with great resistance. I am hoping this turns out like swimming lessons and he just needs some time. But when I picked him up, they said he had a great day and was such a precious boy. Which of course made my mama heart smile. 

We have been in Waco for an entire year now. I am reminded about this as the new interns are rolling in. We aren't the newbies anymore, and I am glad we are on this side of intern year.

A friend asked me if we are finally feeling settled. I think we are for the most part. We have a foundation of people around us and things are not so "new" as they once were. 

So as for now we are just soaking up the days of summer and whatever adventures that await us.
