Step 2 Passed

David got the results of Step 2 this morning, and he passed! Yay! Knew he would though, and he didn't just pass...he did really well on it. Proud of my man.

He has put alot of time and work in these 4 years of medical school and his is now in the home stretch. This last year of school is more flexible which is nice. He gets to do some rotations but also has time off to go and spend some time at different residency programs. That is the next big decision...where to go for residency.

For Family Medicine, residency is three years. You can look at that as, well...3 years isn't really that long or alot can happen in 3 years. Owen will be starting kindergarten when residency is over to put things in perspective : )

We want David to go to the program that best provides him with the training and skills to be the doctor that he desires to be. So if that means going somewhere such as Texas or the Carolinas for example we can do that. Or if that means staying closer by we can do that too.

The big thing that we keep trying to keep in mind is we need to go where God needs us to be and to not let selfish hearts get in the way of what we would like or what we think we need.

Life is an adventure and quite the journey I might add. Excited to see what this next year has in store.

In other news someone has a birthday coming up and this mama is pretty excited about her little monkey turning one!
