On Owen's Birthday...

...we had a cozy little party at home. Yes, the Saturday before we had his big birthday with family and friends (blog post to come when I get a little time.) If you know me, you know birthdays are important. So my boy needed a little special birthday fun on the actual day he was born.

We ordered pizza, drank coke out of 1st birthday cups and had birthday cake. You want to know something neat: when we sat down to eat dinner and say the blessing it was exactly 6:43 (the time Owen was born)...special!

We didn't have a birthday cake on at his birthday party (we had cupcakes) so a birthday cake was in order for his actual birthday. We let Owen and Sam dive on in. They liked grabbing the ladybugs.

After dinner and cake we gave Owen our birthday gift:

He loved it. His favorite part is going in and out of it : )
