Happy New Year! We started out the new year a little under the weather. Little Bit caught his first cold. I really think he started coming down with it Christmas, he was very sleepy that day. It hit him hard Tuesday after Christmas...he had a croupy cough, stuffed up nose and just felt crummy. We got back to Huntsville Wednesday night and Owen had his 4 month check-up on Thursday. He didn't seem to be running a fever so the doctor thought it was fine to go ahead with his shots....this mama didn't think so, she knew how bad Little Bit felt. Well that led to one sick and unhappy baby and Mama. He ran a fever that night that ran up to 102, he was not eating well at all. Poor thing was pitiful. Whatever cold Owen had he shared with me, my mom, my dad and Grandmama. It just kinda wiped us out. So glad David was home to take care of me and Owen and the house! We spent New Year's Eve on the couch this year with our favorite little guy.

We are feeling better now. Not 100% yet...but getting there. Glad to be home. Traveling for 2 weeks with a four month old seeing lots of people, going lots of places was alot on all of us...know wonder Little Bit got sick.
At 4 months Owen is 26 inches long and weighs 15 pounds 12 ounces. He likes playing in his exersaucer and jumparoo, but when he is tired of it, he wants out! He can blow bubbles, loves for people to talk to him, continues to like music, likes to pet Cooper, and likes to suck on his big toe!
2011 is sure to be a fun year with this little guy! Happy New Year everyone!
