Owen has also decided he likes to roll over. He has been able to roll over the past couple of months, but only rolled over when he was in the mood. Now it is fun, maybe it has something to do with the fact that he was barely put down over Christmas break...he seems to really enjoy his floor time now. He rolls from his back to his front most of the time and a few lucky times he has kept going on rolled back over to his front! It is pretty fun. He also likes to look at himself in any and all mirrors...he is pretty cute, can't blame him : )
He lights up when he sees our dog Cooper! He thinks he is very funny. He loves to pet Coop or our cat Tucker. Tucker (if you know him) is much more patient than you would expect.
I think it would be fun to try at least one new recipe a week in 2011. Now I may not really do that...but here is this week's attempt: Fried cheese ravioli. We had the ravioli in the freezer, so thought I would give it a try. Thaw the ravioli. Dip in mixture of 1 egg and 2 tsp of milk. Dip in Italian breadcrumbs. Fry them up! We served it with a marinara sauce for dipping and a greek salad. Pretty good for a change on pasta.
Now we are looking forward to Monday. They are predicting 4-8 inches of snow and Auburn plays in the National Championship! War Eagle!!
So glad Owen is feeling better! And yes, if you look that good, you can't help but stare at yourself in the mirror :)
ReplyDeleteI may have to try that fried ravioli. I've had it at restaurants before and loved it, but I've never tried to make it. If I give it a shot, I'll let you know how it turns out.
Happy National Championship day to you, David, and Owen!
Such a sweet picture of sweet baby Owen! It is so much fun to watch him learn new tricks! He is quite entertaining!
