First Beach Trip and a Birthday Party

Owen has been quite the little traveler lately. We took a trip to Sandestin last week with my dad and had a great time. We stayed at Club Intrawest in Baytowne. The condo is on the bay side. We had a great view of the bay. Owen enjoyed sitting out on the deck and rocking in the rocking chairs. It is a nice time of year to be at the beach...a little cooler weather, fewer people, etc. David was able to come down for the weekend. We enjoyed taking Owen on walks in his stroller and just some time relaxing a bit.
      We also celebrated my 26th birthday that Friday. Amy and Trey, who have been close friends of ours since high school and throughout college, got to come and meet Owen! It was so good to see them and catch up. We don't get to see them as often as we would like, so it was a treat. We also have alot of laughing, a little gossip, and always good food when we get together! Loved seeing you guys!

No need for wishes, I got the gift in August.

So glad we got to hang out with these sweet friends and catch up...it was long overdue. Owen is a big fan of them as well.

We did make it to the beach...even if it was only for 15 minutes.

Owen thoroughly enjoyed himself. He slept so peacefully with the sound of the waves, a nice breeze and the warm sun...he was in heaven.
