Collin turned one this past Saturday. We all kept saying, how has it been a year since he was born? This year went by quickly, but it was important to celebrate that first sweet year of Collin's life!
Owen thought it would be fun to make Collin a birthday cake. So we did just that. We used Gammy's 1234 cake recipe and whipped up some buttercream icing...and of course Owen added the sprinkles!
And since there must be plenty of sweets at a birthday party, we picked up a few of our favorite cupcakes.
Collin loves balls so we tried to add some touches to his special day.
He also loves berries. So we had his favorites: raspberries, blueberries and strawberries.
We picked up some chick fila nuggets, Hawaiian rolls, chex mix and added a cobb salad for the grown ups and it was the perfect birthday lunch.
I printed some of my favorite pictures off of instragram to add to the decorations. It was fun to see how Collin had changed so much in just this first year.
Owen was SUPER excited to party.
Birthday boy with his beach balls.
Collin snuggling with Brittany. She knew the way straight to his heart with that chicken nugget.
And he wasn't about to let it go, not even for a pic with Mama and Daddy.
Beyond grateful for these friends that are more like our family.
And finally the birthday boy in his element...he loved his cake.

That cake looks really yummy! And sprinkles are the best. Happy Birthday Collin. Meme loves you!
