thankful

The past 7 weeks have been full. Full of life, full of firsts, full of interrupted sleep, full of diapers, full of smiles, and full of Legos.

And we could not have made it on our own. Well we might, but it wouldn't have been pretty. Our friends here in Waco are to thank for that smooth transition. We have literally had food brought to us from life group friends, residency friends and even our realtor every Tuesday and Thursday since Collin was born until this week. Everyone was so generous that we made multiple meals off of those weekly meals.  If you have every been a new mom, you know what a blessing this is. If you have never been in that situation, take new moms food ; ) It is a great way to help!

This service that you perform is not only supplying the needs of the Lord's people but is also overflowing in many expressions of thanks to God. 2 Corinthians 9:12

It was so nice not having to figure out and plan every meal, do tons of grocery shopping, and cook every night. I got to enjoy my family. I got to enjoy this sweet time.

Other things I have come to be thankful for are Amazon mom, where I can place and order and I receive it on my doorstep 2 days later. It's so nice to open that door and see  box of diapers without having to make a run to the store.

I am so thankful for the love these brothers share already.

I am thankful for first laughs.

And I am beyond thankful for family that we will get the opportunity to see very soon!

I CAN NOT wait for them to wrap their arms around this little guy!
