A Friday Afternoon

David has just started a new rotation, Pediatrics. He was on call yesterday, so he went in at 6:30 in the morning and got home about 2:30 this afternoon. Owen was super excited to see his Daddy's face when he walked through the door. He even had his first tooth poking through to show him. We took advantage of the sunshine and pretty afternoon and headed outside. The storms are supposed to be rolling in for the rest of the weekend.

Tim and Madonna (our landlords) brought this walker over for Owen to play with

Working on that new tooth

Cooper was pretty happy to have EVERYONE outside with him

Owen is very fascinated with all grass/weeds...and it goes straight to his mouth

Sporting his Auburn National Champs Tshirt...War Eagle!!

"What kind of sound is Daddy making?"

It is a pretty funny sound

That's right folks...turkey season is just around the corner. So David has been practicing his turkey call. If there is a turkey anywhere in the downtown area of Huntsville I am expecting it to appear in my yard.

I think these boys are going to have lots of fun together...they already do!

....and you want to know something sweet? My turkey hunter and sweet baby boy are curled up taking a nap together right now. Life is good.

  1. Such a sweet post...I adore that last picture of your two men together. What a gorgeous little family you have! Happy weekend!

PS--Wouldn't it be funny if all that turkey calling ACTUALLY brought a downtown turkey to your yard? You know how those downtown turkeys are...all over the place :)
