Thanks Mom

So my mom left today to go back home. I won't lie, I shed a few tears. Not that I think we can't do this on our own, it has just been a very special time to share with her. My sweet mom came cooked, cleaned, washed so many loads of clothes, went to the grocery store, picked up food and prescriptions, went to the doctor with us, changed diapers, sang sweet lullabies, and rocked and soothed our little one in a wonderfully squeaky rocking chair. She was very careful to let me and David do our thing, without overstepping and learn on our own. She took care of me when I was sick and was such an encouragement when I needed it most.
    You have a different perspective about moms once you are one. You begin to realize everything your own mother did for you and how much love she really must have for you. I am so blessed to have a mom who is not just a mother but a best friend. Thank you so much Mama for sharing this time with us....it was priceless.
