Happy Birthday David

Today just so happens to be my husband's 27th birthday! Luckily we started celebrating this past weekend in Greenville.

David's parents surprised him with quite the gift, being the prepared guy he is...he had his knife ready : )

To say he was surprised was an understatement.

 With David's upcoming graduation from medical school, they wanted to do something really special and give him something that would be useful at the same time.

His brother and sister even had this special case made just for him.

David is pretty pumped about his new toy, and I can't imagine a guy who is more deserving.

We finished off the night blowing out candles (Owen has gotten the hang of this by now, so we just might have blown them out 4 times...but who's counting)

 and enjoying Nana's chocolate cake.

Owen and Uncle Brian quickly became buddies when he decided to share his cake and ice-cream with him.

Sharing was a theme at dinner.

 Looking forward to what this 27th year will bring you, David. You have parents that couldn't be prouder of you, brothers and sister who respect you, friends that love to laugh with you, a son who looks up to you and a wife that is proud you love her for who she is and is taking her on a new adventure this year.
