After working four days of night call, somehow David managed to muster up enough energy to spend the afternoon with his favorite little buddy and Mama.
Big Spring Park is one of our favorite spots in Huntsville.
What is not to love about feeding fish...
and ducks
and practicing your pitching skills.
Somehow this baby has turned into a little boy.
Who can make a fabulous fish face and duck call by the way.
Man, I love that kid.
The only thing that melts my heart more is seeing that love that only a Dad can give a little boy.
Because he is growing up
and he watches everything...
making careful observations of everything he sees
no matter how small
or how big
he is taking it all in.
So today I am grateful.
For a beautiful afternoon outside with my two favorite guys
and a Daddy who didn't miss out on the good stuff.
