Sea World

Granddaddy was kind enough to take us to Sea World while we were in San Antonio.

We spent two days there. The first day we headed to Sea World in the afternoon.

As we were approaching, the sky got darker, clouds appeared and then came the rain.

Our little car was the only one going in with a long long line of headlights headed out of the park.

But the rain did not stay, it passed quickly and we entered the park with no lines.

Which was great, we got to see the sharks...which was first on Owen's list of what he wanted to do.

We even caught the Elmo block party.

Elmo and Cookie Monster apparently have some good moves...if only you could have seen Big Bird's dancing skills.

We ended the first day watching the Shamu Rocks show that night.

It was a great first day for us to scope out the park and plan our next day of Sea World fun.

The second day, we got to Sea World mid morning in time for the One Ocean show featuring Shamu.

When we asked Owen what he wanted to see at Sea World that day, he was quick to answer "Shamu"

He then went on to describe how Shamu jumps, goes under water and turns...just like him ; )

The show featured 3 whales and the baby is Shamu.

The whales waved,

jumped

and made quite a splash!

Truly beautiful creatures.

After enjoying the splash pad area, checking out the penguins and sea lions we made it to one more show.

The Azul show featured beluga whales, dolphins,

and acrobatic performances.

It was quite the performance. We had a great time and made some great memories.
